Every winter I'm constantly looking for new (and warm) places to fish.
And when things are far too cold for my linking in the Sierra Nevada, I typically stick to inland lake fishing. But when the bass bite shuts down during the frigid months, it doesn't leave us many options here on the coast.
Enter: Surf fishing.
When the winter doldrums hit, don't forget about surf fishing for fun species such as barred surfperch.
