Thinking about heading to San Diego this summer to enjoy some fun under the sun, and possibly get some saltwater fly fishing in.
Got me thinking about Paul Sharman, the saltwater angler I interviewed last year about what it was like to fly fish for mako sharks.
If you've still haven't seen the mako photos, they're worth a look.
And if you're heading to San Diego this summer, consider booking your trip soon as I know these trips fill up quickly. I know I'll be making the rounds Monday morning to set something up myself.
I love fishing in the San Diego/Baja area not only because of the weather, but because of all of the warmwater species available south of the border. Sharks are not the typical game fish obviously, instead anglers head down to Baja for roosterfish, dorado and yellowtail among other species.
