Yellowstone River Fishing Report
- The Gallatin River is fishing great. There have been caddis throughout the day and lots of fish up eating them. Stonefly nymphs and small Woolly Buggers have also worked well. The Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley is starting to fish well. The flows are still a little high but great days are right around the corner. The Lower Madison has been fishing well with Crayfish and Lightning Bugs. Salmonflies are up near Reynolds pass on the Upper Madison and fish are looking up for them. The fly fishing in Yellowstone Park is open! The Firehole fished extremely well on opening day. Stripping little black and olive woolley buggers worked best. Swinging soft hackles also worked really well. The Lamar, Soda Butte and Slough Creek are all clear and fishing pretty well. Caddis, PMD's, Yellow Sallies, and Green Drakes have been hatching daily. The fishing this summer should continue to get better as the temperatures continue to warm up.

Santa Margarita Lake
- Santa Margarita Lake in Santa Margarita, Calif., is starting to turn over with the warm weather. Plenty of bass and crappie to be had on streamers. Get out there.
