Here’s a quick update on an earlier poll on what species fly fishers are looking forward to catching most this spring. As of this post, 120 anglers have voted and the results aren’t all that unexpected with rainbow trout getting 25% of the vote. Here’s a closer look at the numbers:

Rainbow trout 25%, brown trout 21%, largemouth bass 14%, steelhead 8%, other trout 7%, smallmouth bass 6%, saltwater species 5%, salmon 3% and other species 7%.
