Top Anglers International Game Fish Association recently took tabs on the anglers who tallied the most world records in 2012.

On the women's side, Sue Tindale led all female fly fishers with an impressive 29 world record catches in 2012.

Additionally, Sue Tindale caught plenty of world records via a traditional reel, leading all female saltwater anglers with a total of 40 world records in 2012.

She was followed by Dotty Ballantyne (11), Stacey G. Parkerson (6), Kate Burke (2), Valerie Simpson (2) and Mari Kitagawa (2).

On the men's side, Scott Tindale led all male fly fishers with six world record catches.

Frank Bluch (4), Enrico Capozzi (4), Frank Jensen (3), William Nicar (3), Michael Stough (2) and Peter Binaski (2) were the only other fly fishers with multiple world records on the men's side in 2012.

Our friend Steven Wozniak, who has caught over 1,000 fish species, led all traditional saltwater reel anglers with 29 world record catches in 2012.
