Read a great quote in the Daily Camera this morning, from retired tech exec Steve McLaughlin.
And while few of us will be as fortunate as McLaughlin when it comes to our professional careers, I think he's hit the nail on the head with his latest venture - retiring from his executive position with Epicor Software to travel the world and now open a fly shop, Boulder's Front Range Anglers.
"At 55, you really can't be done," he said. "You've got to keep (working), and to combine your No. 1 passion with business is a perfect combination and a great way to stay active."
Can't emphasize that last part enough, combining your passion with your profession and trying to get the most out of life. Isn't the goal? And catching a few rainbows along the way doesn't hurt either.
