Another of my fly fishing ornaments, here's a largemouth bass I just fished off the tree.
I forget who got us this one, but it's a spitting image of a massive, double-digit largemouth I pulled out of Lopez Lake many years ago.
A belly that looked as if it had swallowed a football. I still contend that bass could have been a lake record had I weighed and kept it, but instead I let her go since it was during the spawning season ... and I'd rather have dozens more fish coming from that hole rather than just the one monster.
