As a displaced Philadelphia Eagles fan, I know it's been a rough couple of months for the die-hard football fans in Pennsylvania.
So I thought I'd do all of the Eagles fanatics a favor and write our next "From the Guides" piece on a hometown water in their state, so they have an alternative to football this coming weekend.
Instead of football, why not take in some fly fishing in Chambersburg?
Falling Spring Creek in Chambersburg offers up some of the best fly fishing in the state, and, as Ballard G. Hammond of Custom Tied flies and guide service points out: "When these fish take, they really take. They are very acrobatic fish, leaping from the water and giving a very exciting fight."
Which is more than we can say about the Eagles this year!
