Montana fishing guide Brian Grossenbacher got the opportunity of a lifetime recently when he took Oprah Winfrey on her first fly fishing trip along the Merced River in Yosemite National Park, Calif.
Grossenbacher's trip with Oprah was featured on Wednesday's show, the same day Grossenbacher took some time out for a Q&A with About.com on what it was like to fly fish with Oprah.
Man, these celebrities sure love to fish with Montana fly fishing guides. Reminds me of the Vermillion brothers' fly fishing trip with President Obama in Aug. 2009 in Montana.
Both Obama and Oprah, however, are still looking for their first fish ... something I'd be more than happy to help them out with next time they're in California!

Two local Bozeman fishing guides, Brian and Jenny Grossenbacher guided them on their excursion. It sounds like they only fished for about 30 minutes and the conditions were very technical (low clear water) made even more challenging by the fleet of cameramen and producers on the shoot. It sounds like Oprah really did enjoy learning about fly fishing and may come out to Bozeman to do some more fly fishing with the Grossenbachers.
