Fly fishing Resolutions for the New Year

Well, the new year is finally here, which means it must be time to bombard my fellow fly fishers with stories about one year ending (as if you need to read another "Year in Review" story) and another one starting.

Along with the mind-numbing "Year in Review" story, no blog would be complete without a "New Year's resolution" story, too.

Guess I better start working on that since I can't thing of one worthwhile resolution that I've made for myself this year. Must be a sign that I'm getting old, stuck in my ways, and that I've given up trying to change the person I've become.

So instead of a year-end or a resolutions story, I offer up a fly fishing preparations story for the new year, which includes a half dozen tips that will help you get ready for the next year of fishing.
