Don't Let Gas Prices Slow You Down
According to a poll last month at AnglerSurvey.com, 32 percent of pollsters said that high gas prices would affect their fishing activities.
Last year, only 22 percent said high gas prices would affect their fishing plans.
One way to get around the high costs of gas is to fish your favorite local lake or stream instead of driving up to the mountains and to use human-powered vessels while fishing -- such as kayaks or float tubing -- or hike in the old fashion way.
Either way, we trout bums are pretty clever about turning those stumbling blocks into stepping stones when it comes to fishing.
