Where to Find Mr. Rainbow
Tuesday May 13, 2008
Here's something to consider next time you head out to that freshly stocked stream you've been planning to visit all year:
Did you know trout feed well below the surface about 90 percent of the time? Makes you wonder why we have all those dry flies in our fly boxes.
Here’s a look at the four basic feeding zones on a typical trout stream and what percentage of the time you can generally find fish there.

As A flyfisher wanna be I find the 90% fact very inlightening, as I write this I’m thinking of all of the media I have enjoyed reading which extoll only the dry fly. What a blast!!!!!!!
